Cinnamon & Honey Weight Loss Formula

This should be prepared at night, before going to bed.

Use 1 part cinnamon powder to 2 parts raw honey. 1/2 a teaspoon cinnamon to 1 teaspoon honey is recommended but you can use more or less as long as it is in the ratio of 1 to 2. (1 tsp. cinnamon to 2 tsp. raw honey is a simple example)

Stove top method.
  1. Bring 1 cup (8 oz.) water to a boil.
  2. Put cinnamon into the water. Cover, turn off the stove, and let it seep for 30 minutes.
  3. Add honey now that the water and cinnamon mixture has cooled. NEVER add honey when it is hot as the heat will destroy the enzymes and other nutrients in the raw honey.
  4. Drink 1/2 directly before going to bed. The other 1/2 should be covered and placed in the fridge.
  5. In the morning, drink the other half. You can drink it cold or at room temperature but do not re-heat (again, using heat, including a microwave, will destroy the enzymes)
Do not add anything else to this recipe. No lemon, no lime, no vinegar. It is most effective on an empty stomach and primarily at night. This works for most people. Inches are lost before any measurement on the scales. People report increased energy, more sex drive, and feeling happier.

What causes the weight loss?

The cinnamon and honey cause a cleansing effect in the digestive tract and cleans out parasites and other bacteria that slow down the digestion which cause toxic build up. Once this is all cleaned out, you will most likely have a slow down in weight loss. You may even hit a plateau. However, this is very effective method to a natural detox.

Please note that other side effects may occur because of the toxins being released. It is normal and if it does occur to an uncomfortable level, take a break or cut back on how much you use.

The Power of Honey and Cinnamon

Honey has a long history of human consumption and is used in various foods and beverages as a sweetener and flavoring. Ancient Egyptian and Middle Eastern people used honey for embalming the dead. It also has a role in religion, symbolism and health. It is one of the only foods on the planet that will not spoil or rot. If left in a cool dark place for a long time it will "crystallize" or turn to sugar. However, when this happens all you have to do is loosen the lid, boil some water, sit the honey container in the water (heat turned off) and allow it to liquefy. It is then as good as it ever was. 100g (roughly 5 tbsp.) of honey contains... 304 Calories, 0g Fat, 82.4g Carbohydrates, 0.2g Fiber, 82.12g Sugar, 0.3g Protein, and various vitamins.

** Never boil or put honey in a microwave. Doing so will kill its natural enzymes.

Cinnamon also has a long history of human consumption and is used in both sweet and savory foods and beverages. It plays a role in many religions and has also been specifically mentioned in the Hebrew Bible.  In ancient times, it was so highly prized that it was regarded as a gift fit for monarchs and even for a god. Though cinnamon is most commonly used as a spice it also holds great medical value. 100 grams (roughly 5 tbsp.) of ground cinnamon contains... 247 Calories, 1.2g Fat, 80.6g Carbohydrates, 53.1g Fiber, 2g Sugar and 4g Protein.

Many people are aware of the health benefits that cinnamon provides, and many more know the great power of honey but have you ever considered combining the two? If we look back in history we can see both these items being used by different cultures around the world for many different medical purposes. Almost all ancient cultures were aware of the benefits honey has on the skin and benefits of honey on hair. Not to mention the healing benefits of honey and lemon.

Numerous articles are written about the medical benefits of both honey and cinnamon but few mention combining them. In this series we will discuss how the combination of honey and cinnamon helps with the following...

  • Heart Diseases
Make a paste from honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread instead of jam or peanut butter, and eat regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also, those who have already had an attack, if you do this process daily you will stay miles away from another heart attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heartbeat. In America and Canada, various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that as you age, the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalize the arteries and veins.
  • Arthritis
Take daily, morning and night, one cup of hot water with two scoops of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research, it was found that when doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon honey and half teaspoon cinnamon powder before breakfast within a week, out of the 200 people treated 73 patients were totally relieved of pain. Within a month nearly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.
  • Bladder Infections
Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder which cause this infection.
  • Colds and Influenza
Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 tablespoon cinnamon powder daily for roughly three days. This process will cure most chronic coughing and clear the sinuses. A scientist in Spain has proved that honey contains a natural ingredient which kills the influenza germ.
  • Upset Stomach, Indigestion and Gas
Not only does honey taken with cinnamon powder cure stomach aches but it also clears stomach ulcers from the root. Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey taken before a meal relieves acidity and digests the heaviest of meals. According to the studies done in India and Japan, it is revealed that if honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.
  • Hair Loss
Those suffering from hair loss or baldness may apply a paste of hot (not too hot!) olive oil, one tablespoon of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder to the scalp and hair before taking a bath. Use as you would an oil treatment, leaving it in for 10 - 15 minutes and then rinse. It was found to be effective even if kept on for 5 minutes.
  • Toothaches and Bad Breath
Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey. Apply to the aching tooth three times a day until the tooth has stopped hurting. After brushing your teeth, gargle a mixture of one teaspoon honey, one teaspoon cinnamon powder and warm water first thing in the morning to keep your breath fresh all day. Repeat this whenever you feel your breath is rank.
  • Acne and other Skin Infections
Mix three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder into a paste and apply to acne before sleeping. Wash the next morning with lukewarm water. If done daily for two weeks, it removes pimples from the root. Apply honey and cinnamon in equal parts on the infected parts of the skin. This most commonly cures eczema and ringworm.
  • FatigueStudies have shown that the sugar content of honey is more helpful rather than being detrimental to the strength of the body. Senior citizens who take honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts are more alert and flexible. Dr. Milton says that a half-tablespoon of honey taken in a glass of water and sprinkled with cinnamon powder taken twice a day increases the vitality of the body within a week.

NOTE: The honey and cinnamon needs to be organic. REAL RAW UNPASTEURIZED HONEY. If it says pure honey it is most likely pasteurized. It is best to only use honey that states raw or unpasteurized on the label. The fundimental enzymes are all heated out of the pasteurized honey.
