Because I slacked off yesterday (not to mention the poor choices in food and a binge later in the night) I decided to restart my 30 Day Shred exercise program. And because I've also restarted my journal, I thought it would be a great idea to include my progress on our blog! Feel free to join me!
Jillian Michaels came out with this program and the DVD only costs around $9 - $14. I fell in love with it on day one. It gives you a great butt-kicking and before you know it you're done. Left sprawled out on the floor panting. It has three-20 minute workouts, each harder then the last. The idea is that you take 20 minutes each day to get in a SOLID workout. Apparently you can lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days which is believable seeing as I lost 4 pounds in 5 days last week. 20 pounds would be absolutely wonderful especially with a exercise program that's so easy anyone could follow! Give it a try! What is there to lose?!
I will be doing this on a daily bases. I'll do it once in the morning and once in the evening. After researching online I was a little upset to see that the average person only burns about 150 - 250 calories during one workout however, the other two levels increase in intensity and offer a greater calorie burn. I don't own a heart-rate monitor so there's no way to tell how many calories I burn but I figure by doing it twice a day I will see better results. You can do it too, I know you can! It's super easy, not even 30 minutes, and I promise it will make you feel great! If I'm feeling extra confident in myself, at the end I will show you my before and after photos! :)
So let's get started with level 1!
